On line instructional Links to help our Students Learn

Our colleague Brian Adams uses these links to send to his students so they
can brush up on ideas, and concepts of sailing. This proves to be a great method of
teaching for a couple of reasons. One they can learn away from the club so when they
show up they have a broader sense of sailing secondly they learn more and it's fun.

There are a ton of other links to sailing instruction web sites and youtube videos.
Please seek new ones out and share with us and your students.

When we embrace new approaches and techniques in teaching sailing
we help foster great learning.  This I believe should be our collective goal.

Keelboat Lift In on Saturday Starts @ 7:30 and Goes until 6PM.

Please come on down to pier in and help us as we plop our fleet of
fine keelboats in our playground. We need as many people as we can get
and instructors are a great choice because they know about boats.
It will also be a great opportunity to meet new people and have fun. The forecast is for some wind so we need folks to fend off.
See you all on Saturday. We will need more people as the day goes on so don't feel as if you need to be there at 7:30AM.

Welcome to the HSC Instructors Blog

Welcome!

In an attempt to bring a ton of information into the digital age we have created this instructor blog. The goal of this blog is one stop shopping for Class Out lines, Important messages,
alerts and anything else that we can all post here to communicate.

We will be scanning in the Sailing Instruction Course Outlines
page by page and this will take time. So be patient.

Here is the link to the weather buoy that is in the middle of Lake Lake Mendota weather buoy.

Please write suggestions on what else to include.
